In the very beginning of the creative development process, the image of 3 doors that represent each character stood out to us. This image is what I based our Hero Image and our show poster around, using the pottery wheel as the central title, offset by the doors to add depth.
I then made tiles to introduce our creative team and our cast. I explored many different ideas but landed on the idea of a picture frame as it gave a warm and homey energy.
I also created a creatives page to have a promotional image with all of the people involved included.
When looking at our marketing from an audience perspective, I realised the necessity for a clear description of the show, and a clear layout of the show times for audiences to engage with our show.
I noticed that we hadn’t told our audience and account follower about our characters and their personalities. Therefore, I created these character posts using photos from our actors real lives rather than our photoshoot to humanise them, especially as our play is character driven.
